Tourney Bracket
Tourney Bracket ("the app") is developed by Skyhawk Labs. This policy explains what information the app handles and how it's used.
Tournament and player data
Tournaments, player lists, and bracket results are stored only on your device (using local app storage). This data is never uploaded to us or any third party, and there is no account or sign-in — we have no way to identify you or access this data.
Signup sheet photos
If you use the "scan a signup sheet" feature, the app sends the photo you take or choose to our server, which forwards it to Anthropic's API to read the player names in the image. The extracted names are returned to your device and the photo is not stored by our server or kept after the request completes. Anthropic processes the image only to fulfill this request; see Anthropic's privacy policy for how they handle API data.
Camera and photo library access
The app requests camera and photo library permission solely so you can capture or select a photo of a signup sheet for the scanning feature above. Photos are not accessed for any other purpose.
Technical data
When you use the scan feature, your device's IP address is used transiently by our server to prevent abuse (rate limiting) and is not stored or logged long-term.
What we don't do
We don't use analytics or advertising SDKs, don't track you across apps or websites, and don't sell or share your data with third parties other than as described above.
Children's privacy
The app is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a new "last updated" date.
